About this game
Get ready to push your concentration to the limit with Chocolate, Boot, Turtle! This is an absolutely frantic, noisy and supremely entertaining card game that will put your visual reflexes and mental reaction speed to the test.
The mechanic is an organized chaos: all cards are dealt among the players. Following a set sequence (“Chocolate, Boot, Turtle, Hat, Banana…”), each player must say the next word in the sequence while quickly flipping the top card from their personal deck face-up toward the center of the table. The tension builds because… the moment the card just played matches the word the player just said (for example, if they flip a Hat and shout “Hat!”), absolutely everyone must slam their hand onto the pile of cards in the center!
The last player to react and put their hand down takes the entire pile of accumulated cards as a penalty. The primary goal is to get rid of all your cards first, but you must maintain the relentless pace of the sequence without peeking at your cards before flipping them, without faking moves with your hand, and being extremely careful not to get confused. Watch out, because if the mischievous Cow card comes up… the fun will get even wilder!
