4 in a Row Strategy
An elegant strategy game for two where you must move your wooden pieces across the board to be the first to align four in a row.
About this game
4 in a Row Strategy is a refined abstract pure strategy game for two players, made with high-quality wooden pieces. The goal is clear: be the first to place 4 pieces in a row, whether horizontal, vertical or diagonal. But unlike the classic gravity-based “Connect Four,” here pieces move freely across the board like a queen in chess.
The game begins with each player placing their 6 pieces on the board squares. From there, each turn consists of moving a piece to any free square in any horizontal, vertical or diagonal direction, as many squares as desired, as long as no other piece is in the way. You cannot jump or capture the opponent’s pieces.
This simple but deep mechanic makes every game a fascinating mental duel. Each move opens new possibilities and creates new threats. You’ll need to think several moves ahead, anticipate your rival’s strategy and find the right moment to attack or defend. Compact and elegant, it’s the perfect game to take anywhere and enjoy a quick intellectual challenge.
